Something we as photographers rarely talk about is how we go about the process of shaking off the rust after a period of inactivity, usually after the December/January holiday season.
This past winter as a way of saying thank you to all my friends who have referred work to me I decided to hold a giveaway of sorts! That giveaway would give one couple a free shoot, at a time/location of my choosing. Naturally, I couldn’t be more excited when I drew the names of good, old friends Gabriel Auch and Katy Shen!
And so, this session was how I un-rusted myself after a couple weeks of being away from shooting. Some extra room to experiment, some extra leeway to just have even more fun with our time together.
